Color Your World

This morning I woke up feeling green.

Not the sick kind of green. The fresh spring, time to plant and grow, kind of green. The let’s get this started kind of green.

I’m feeling this way because the first call of The PDF Workshop is today. I’m feeling this way because I did a fun run this weekend and the shirts that came along with it are green. I’m feeling this way because Kelda, our new puppy, has beautiful hazely green eyes!

So I’m dedicating this week to green.

I will color the world green. Because I am a seed that’s beginning to sprout and I like the way it feels.

What color would you like to dedicate your week to? What will you color the world this week? Why?

Download your own Color Your World PDF, print it out, fill it out, post it where you can see it, and go forth and color the world this week.

I am all about yellow. Vibrance, Energy, and Warmth. All things that I think New Yorkers could really use right now!

Fun, fun, fun, Christie! I am painting my world a sparkly, shimmering, silver!! It is glistening in abundance, uniqueness, and authentic power standing bold and bright among the drab.

  9. Oh I love this post Christie…so fun!
I’m going to color my world Orange this week.
For me it symbolizes optimism, taking risks this week and strength to bounce back from disappointment 🙂

Love this so much! I’m going with silver glitter. It’s silly and over the top and sparkly.

    As it should be.

I will color my world white…a blank slate. So that I can create all else in color. A clean start. So that all things are punctuated. And fresh. And seemingly new.
I wish this also for all our NYC/NJ friends facing such devastation in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy…to create something where there is now nothing….

Yellow!! I’m feeling the happiest I’ve been in a long time.

  14. Gold. And silver, too.

This made me think about how some people (very few) have numbers associated with colors and see them that way. It’s a rare psycho-bio phenomenon with really interesting insight and implications. A departure from what you’ve written about here, but I wonder if on a different level it has a similar effect.

And you make pdfs like NOBODY’S business! I bet it’s a great class. Thank you!

  15. I agree about the PDF—it’s lovely. My go-to color is orange. It’s juicy and spicy and inspires me to forge ahead with all I do. Id love to find out more abut the psycho-bio phenomenon that Randy mentioned. Fascinating.

  16. I love color so much that now I am spinning in my head wanting silver sparkles.. turquoise (for all of my big jewelry and turquoise pieces around the house) green b/c live for green in nature and new fresh energies and the green outside is almost gone.. pink because … when isn’t it the best … i could think about color forever (daughter of designers) but it can take me a year to pick paint for a room b/c it gets so obsessive … aren’t you glad you asked?!

So this week… turquoise keeps saying “pick me”… creative expression/throat chakra-y kind of color and watery and always easy to love.. gorgeous pdf, Christie..

    love and blessings..
    Lisa

I like the idea, going to choose the color for each week now.

Oh I love it Christie, beautiful pdf, thanks!
This week I’m gonna color the world blue, soothing and agreed with Lisa, all about throat chakra and self expression 🙂
    Thanks again!

This is just great Christie-love the simplicity and brevity and beauty of the post. I will colour my week RED, because I feel hot this week! Interestingly, my daughter just took some new photos of me yesterday, with a red shawl around my shoulders 🙂

  21. I love this and have shared with a Color Therapy student. She’ll get such a kick out of the pdf, which is of course gorgeous!

I’m coloring my week blue…safety, calmness and protection. Working with ‘trust’ this week, so blue it is.

Love this! Beautiful graphics. I’m choosing purple this week, because it’s rich and warm and feels so comfy for the gloomy days outside and warm laughter inside.

  23. Michelle on at

I color most weeks purple – in fact, that was the inspiration for the purple swirls behind my latest tattoo ( http://instagr.am/p/RnGxKquAgl/ ) – because I am strong, and capable, and in control of my own life & choices. 🙂 (Blue and green are also popular…blue makes me feel secure and calm.)
